"Chelle & Friends provided a wonderful concert for the Menlo Park community.
People of all ages – children and adults - thoroughly enjoy your amazing talent!"

Katrina Whiteaker, Menlo Park Summer Concert Series

The members of Chelle! & Friends have decades of experience teaching individual vocal and choral styles, harmonic and rhythmic techniques, and foundational music theory and have instructed for such groups as San Francisco Symphony's Adventures in Music, Oakland Youth Chorus, Youth in Performance, and Cazadero Music Camp, to name a few.

Like the music of New Orleans that Chelle! & Friends is famous for performing onstage, their music workshops can reflect and be customized to emphasize any of a variety of disciplines (Traditional and Modern Jazz, Blues, African, Latin, Caribbean, American and Ethnic, Folk, etc.).

Whether you’re looking to expand the horizons of an existing music curriculum or you need to provide your students with an outside source for high quality music education programming during these fiscally challenging times, Chelle! & Friends can provide a fun, quality solution for any music program.

"Whether leading a children¹s Mardi Gras parade or headlining the 'Queens of New Orleans" Music Festival, CHELLE! & Friends’ blend of music delights audiences of all ages."

This fall, CHELLE! And Friends brought New Orleans to the BayAreaDiscoveryMuseum, a children’s museum in Sausalito! With drums, percussion, bass and powerful voices, they delivered a musically rich gumbo of New Orleans jazz, R & B and gospel, fused with Caribbean rhythms. They made no concessions to the age of their pint-sized audience and the kids loved it. So did the adults in the crowd. For the finale, CHELLE! followed by all the 3 and 4 year olds in the house paraded to the strains of When the Saints Come Marching In. They even tossed necklaces into the audience to the delight of all.
